Hari 01 : KUALA LUMPUR / KATHMADU / NAGARKOT (MT/MM)
Depart to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, a country of amazing extremes, home to the world's highest mountains, numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites and forested plains where tigers and rhinos trundle at ease. Swagatam to Nepali. Visit to Bhaktapur City, a historical medieval town listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Founded in the 9th century and shaped like a conch shell, the city boasts an array of temples overlooked by the Palace with its fifty-five windows built by King Bhupatindra Malia. It is the best preserved of the three original cities of Kathmandu Valley. Travel to Nagarkot, situated 2,300m above sea level, commands a spectacular view of Mount Everest. Witness one of the most beautiful sunsets of Himalayas and enjoy the fresh air of the unpolluted Himalayas.
Hari 02 : NAGARKOT / CITWAN NATIONAL PARK (SP/MT/MM)
Wake up to the beginning of a cold but stunningly spectacular dawn: the first rays of the sun over the peaks of the Himalayas from Kachenjunga and Mount Everest in the far east, to the Annapurna's and Dwawlagiri in the west. Drive to Chitwan National Park, one of the finest national parks in Asia, renowned for its dense concentration of wildlife, which provide the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitats. After lunch, start your activity with a short briefing on the safari tour and what to expect and beware. Visit Tharu Village, the indigenous inhabitations of the Terai and experience their traditional way of living. This brings you many years back to human civilization. During the canoe trip on the Rapti River, you will have an opportunity to view an array of nature's beautiful riverside scenery including different types of birds, two types of crocodile and other aquatic creatures.
Hari 03 : CITWAN NATIONAL PARK / POKHARA (SP/MT/MM)
Early morning continue our Jungle activity on elephant back safaris (4 persons per elephant). You shall be able to monitor wildlife activities in the deep jungle while sitting on a well-trained elephant with duration of about one and a half hour. Visit to Elephant Breeding Center, the first elephant breeding center in Asia. Enjoy a chance to see the baby elephants socializing with their parents. How the elephant meals being prepared and how they consume their food. You will learn about the nature and habits of the elephant. Donations are welcome to assist in raising the young elephant and to secure a viable population. Travel to Pokhara, an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley is the starting point for many of Nepal's most popular trekking. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the Fishtail summit rising behind it, create an ambience of peace and magic. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous view of the Himalayas.
Hari 04 : POKHARA (SP/MT/MM)
Early morning excursion to Sarankot Hill (subject to weather conditions). We can see the beautiful sunrise view, rising over the Himalayas and Annapurna mountain ranges, if the day is clear, we can also view the Fishtail peak. Visit Davis fall, an awesome waterfall lying at the southwest of Pokhara. Visit Gupteswore Mahadev Cave, opposite Davis fall, almost 3KM long and holds special value for Hindus since phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here, then visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp. Continue to see the Seti Gorge and Bendabashini temple. Enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal, set against a back-drop of 6,900m height Fish Tail summit. Rest of the day, free at leisure to do some souvenirs shopping at the lakeside.
Hari 05 : POKHARA / KATHMADU (SP/MT/MM)
After breakfast, we
proceed to domestic airport for your flight back to Kathmandu.
Visit Pashupatinath - a majestic temple with golden roof and is
considered as one of Nepal's most important Hindu pilgrimage
centers. Situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River which
is an auspicious place to be cremated. You may even witness an
ancient Hindu cremation ritual. Visit Boudhanath stupa - the
largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal and a religious center for the
Buddhism. Surrounding the stupa, there are many different
monasteries belonging to different Buddhist sects. Most of the
visitors use to go to the Stupa for sightseeing, shopping and
Hari 06 : KATHMADU (SP/MT/MM)
Visit Patan, a famous square for its arts and crafts, and view the Shikara style Krishna temple, Patan Durbar, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Buddhist monastery and Golden temple. Visit the Tibetan cultural center. founded by the Tibetan refugees of the late fifties and now an exhibition cum shopping complex of carpets, jewellery and many interesting souvenirs. Take a short drive to the ancient Buddhist Swayambhunath Stupa, situated on top of a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Continue the tour with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar, the palace of the Malia and the Shah kings of Nepal. You may also see the Kasthamandup, a medieval rest house said to give Kathmandu its name and Kumari Temple, abode of the virgin goddess situated in the Kathmandu Durbar.
Hari 07 : KATHMADU (SP/MT/MM)
An excursion to Bungamati, a traditional Newari village, a place where not much has changed over the last couple of centuries. You will find hundreds of masterful wood carvers and sculptors offering you excellent hand-crafted items at bargain price. Next visit Khokana village, a tiny Newari village with a reputation for two things - mustard oil and the local temple. It is also a timeless medieval village where typical peasant life is still exists. After lunch, free to shop at Thamel Street, a tourist hub for shopping in Kathmandu. Tonight, enjoy Nepalese dinner with Cultural performance.
Hari 08 : KATHMADU - KUALA LUMPUR (SP)
Time to bid farewell to this wonderful country and bring home a sweet memories of Nepal!
